What does the washer jet do?
The Jetta washer jet supplies pressure so that the fluid can be squirted onto the front and/or back windscreen of your car.
Most car manufacturers mount the washer pump near or on the inside the washers water tank.
An Anti-freeze solution may be added to the mixture to prevent it from freezing in poor weather.
If there isn’t fluid coming out when you turn on the pump this could be down to a number of causes so inspecting the jet is the first thing to do as the tank could be empty or damaged.
If the jet doesn’t work at all there may be a fault and you may need to replace the washer pump or the washer jet.
