The oil sump is a metal container which covers the bottom of the engine block and simply holds the engine oil when it is not circulating around the engine.
Driving with a cracked pan causes leaks that will ultimately damage your car or vans engine.
Replacing your sump can be a simple task that does not require any special skills to replace it but you will need a lot of time due to draining the old oil using the oil drain plug found on the bottom of the sump. Once fitted replacement oil is required to fill the oil level back up in accordance with the level sensor.
Our sumps come complete with new sump plug making it easier to open and close.
