    Product Description

Drop Links are also known as an Anti Roll Bar, Stabiliser Links or Link Rods

Drop links connect the left and right hand suspension system to either end of the roll bar drop links this is made from a length steel rod running down the underside of the car.

Poor road quality is one reason for your Drop Link deteriorating so if you hit a pothole it will absorb a huge amount of shock when this happens in poor weather the links become more brittle and over time this causes damage.

Sportier cars have thicker Drop Links to enable better performance enabling more cornering grip. But even then can put huge shock onto the drop links.

When the bushes or ball joints start to deteriorate or fail they start to make a knocking noise. If the Drop Link is not replaced then the car can become very dangerous to drive this creates body roll and will fail its MOT.

The safety of you and your car is all placed upon the smallest part in the steering and suspension system.

      Shocking packaging

Ok you asked for it. While the part's themselves were Ok, although the drop links should be provided with nylock nuts as appossed to flange nuts, the packing?! So the wheel bearing, you'll agree is substantial in weight, it comes in a thin cardboard box of its own with no additional packaging, no protection on the studs. So as the drop links are longer, you put both items in a box more than twice the size of the box with the bearing inside, the drop links are just in a clear plastic bag. Now you have a heavy weight free to bounce around, roll around inside a box with absolutely no additional packing to secure it, none whatsoever! Who, just who the hell put that heavy item in a box with no additional packing, seriously what on earth were they thinking? Perhaps they were not thinking, probably too busy scrolling through tic tock or some other rubbish. I am absolutely appalled that no training is provided in that area, that is clear. The indentations in the box from the studs, which had pierced the thin box and damaged the outer box would have been prevented if you had used packing material to secure it, centrally for even weight distribution, so that it would not move. Very lucky the studs were not damaged, as the thread starts 6mm or so from the end of the srud. It is also lucky the drop links weren't bent. If you are going to continue running an online business, selling car parts, I would strongly advise you either train your staff, do the job properly yourself or get new staff who know how to do something so basic. If I'm buying part's online, I expect them to be packed in a way that assures no damage will occur, except under extreme circumstances. Price of the parts competitive, but packing absolutely no!
