Product Description
The car wishbone is an important part of the cars suspension
Brand New VW Beetle Wishbone Suspension Arm to fit all VW Beetle for years 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017.
Wishbones or Control Arms when connected, form the lower link of the front wheel independent suspension arm commonly known as the macpherson strut normally connected via a ball joint. They move up or down in a vertical movement with the motion of the cars suspension system working in tandem with the shock absorbers.
The wishbone over time can become worn due to bad weather, long journeys and poor road conditions such as pot holes.
If your Beetle starts to handle poorly or pulls to one side when accelerating or braking, this could be a sign your wishbone needs replacing. Tyre wear and vibrations from the car can also indicate an issue.
A double wishbone suspension setup is usually found on high performance cars.
For more information we have written a simple guide to Wishbones.
