Product Description
Replace your cracked, broken or damaged VW Jetta Air Flow Meter MAF Sensor.
What is a Mass Air Flow Sensor?
A Mass Air Flow sensor (MAF) is one of the key components of an electronic fuel injection system in your car. It is installed between the air filter and the intake manifold of the engine. See the diagram. The mass air flow sensor measures the amount of air entering the engine or the air flow.
Your Mass Air Flow Sensor is technology located within your engine that communicates with the car's onboard computer and tells it how much air is entering the engine. It's very important this communicates correctly as it allows your engine to regulate its performance and change the intake of air to keep your engine running in its best condition.
Maintenance and air filter replacement will prolong the life of the MAF sensor and ensure it works properly. While the exact timing varies based on where and how much you drive, A good rule to follow, when to replace the MAF is every 10,000 to 12,000 miles although that can vary on the amount of miles the car has travelled.
